Travel plans are arriving!

Today I got my first itinerary information from WorldTeach! I will be departing from NYC on December 29th for Windhoek, the capitol of Namibia, where I will be for two weeks training, and then I am sent out into the field to teach in my own classroom for a semester.  I don't have details on exactly in which village I will be placed, or what my course load will be, but I should have that information by mid-November, and I cannot wait to start learning about my village! Now that the blog is up and running, I will be able to update people on my trip! I plan to share lots of teaching anecdotes, recipes, and stories from my village.  Right now, it's starting to sink in that I will be responsible for the education of students abroad.  Hope I don't mess up!
